Well, I survived the trail without being eaten, although we saw a beautiful young moose standing next to our car. It did not have a fluffy tail like Bill's fox, but it did eventually run away!
Kim has watched it a couple of times by the bathroom above the burch hollow parking lot. She saw the cow too. I saw your comment it is scary being the last one out of there. I need to start earlier, but I do like the cooler temps. I have started to run up the road a little more than a mile and open up on the way back down, not to hard, but it sure finishes up the runs up there nicely. You should try it, it feels completely different from the trail. Using the different muscle group while already tired is a nice feel. See ya on the trail, or call we might be able to start at the same time.
