Ok, so it has been a while since I have posted.  The last couple months have been pretty rough emotionally and the running has been all but non existent.  After Zima passed away, by far one the most painful experiences I have been through, I found out my mom has breast cancer.  Although her prognosis is good it still rocks you a bit, especially since she is my only remaining parent.  In regards to running, my foot is not really a lot better, just good enough to allow me to run a few days per week.  I am aggressively rehabing it, but it just may not get better, at least according to the now 7 specialists I have seen.  I have spent some time riding my bike and a considerable amount of time swimming.  Actually my swimming is coming along great, I almost feel competent again!!

Today's run took me up millcreek to burch hollow, a good run for the soul.  It was beautiful despite almost being killed by about 10 different mountain bikers.

Made an attempt in the pool to swim a fast 50 and then a fast 100.  No dive, just a push from the wall.  The 50 was fair at 26 seconds, the 100 not so good at 61.  Not sure I gave enough recovery between the 2.  I would have hoped for a sub 60, but I will try again soon.

Your ears must have been burning. Jed and I were talking about you on the run today. I'm glad your back and I'm sorry you've been going through so much. Between the loss of a good friend and the fear of losing a parent some time to think was probably the best. Hope to see you out there and I hope everything continues to improve.
