Ran from Bob's place for a little extension of our usual zoo loop. What an amazing day to run - no wind, and beautiful sunshine. The first 5 miles were pretty slow, there is a lot of climbing, but we took it pretty easy. We picked the pace up during the second half of the run, but nothing uncomfortable and nothing blazing fast. Overall it was a nice run, and probably the most comfortable long run I have done this year. I missed my mileage goals for the week, but I am ok with that based on how I have been feeling. I have felt better in the last couple days so I hope I can step up a little this week. |
